Abexo Registry Cleaner 5.3.1 is the latest released version of this shareware utility for Windows. In order to optimize our computer performance, preventive maintenance is necessary, especially if we are active Internet users. From time to time, we must defragment our drivers, compress files, e-mail messages, make backups, delete unwanted multimedia files, temporary files, and so on. This software makes it easy and possible to get rid of all those non-valid registry entries. From the Main Window, we can select to make a Registry Backup, Registry Cleanup, Registry Defrag, Undo Cleanups, Auto Run, and Help. From the Cleanup Settings menu, we are allowed to choose to scan one or all the registry areas. While scanning, it takes 100% CPU usage but it detects it, stops automatically and gives us clear instructions on what to do to avoid freezing. It is possible to download the trial version from the developer’s website and try it free of charge for five days. It runs under Microsoft Windows Vista and XP operating systems. |
